Some Genesis Themes (Education and Balance to name two) have full blog posts below the fold under the homepage information. While this works well in some instances in come cases is doesn’t work for me. Here’s how you can remove he posts from the homepage. Paste this code in your theme’s home.php file. (Please note this goes in the home.php and not into the functions.php file.)

So easy. This is why I love Genesis so much. Btw, I believe the filter isn’t necessary, unless you want the homepage to be full width.
Thanks for the comment. Genesis is awesome, we love it! We kept the filter on, because it will be easier for someone with lesser php skills to remove to work if need be.
